I'm Alive... and bearing new characters/obsessions

Hello everyone. If any of you noticed or cared, I have not been on here much. School and senior year have been eating all my time that I normally spent online... so, yes. That's where I've been.

So, new obsession... new music obsessions are (well this one isn't new it's just rekindled) is 30STM. Their new single "Kings And Queens" is just uberly fantastic. I also have a huge love for MGMT, and the Scissor Sisters as of late.

And now, my biggest obsessions would have to be animals, and a creature of Cherokee folklore called the Raven Mocker "Kâ'lanû Ahkyeli'skï". A Raven Mocker is an evil spirit who robs the dying of their life. Sounds like a normal shinigami/grim reaper, but the Raven Mocker is more bad-ass. The Raven Mocker does not just kill the person, it steals their life straight from them, cutting their time on Earth short and making them die and untimely death. They also will eat the heart of the dying person.... SO COOL.

How did I find out about these creatures? Well, like three days ago I was just goofing around on the web and came across some romance/fantasy book site that had a review about a book with a Raven Mocker in it... I had no idea what that was and then I googled it... and now it is one of my favorite mythological creatures... right up there with werewolves, vampires, kitsune, and shapeshifters... in fact it might be my favorite....

Being a woman I couldn't resist....

Anyway!! I was thinking of doing something with my new-found love. I might write or draw some story based around a Raven Mocker man, a shapeshifter girl, and maybe my weird skull-man Mukesha (remember him: [link])

SO, we'll see. I honestly love raven mockers though... it's probably one of the most bad-ass legends out there.

So, I found this mycelebritymatch.com place thing and I keep getting Jared Leto even though I'm like "5 years! That's the range! 5 frikkin years! not twenty!"

Right behind him in my results are Dylan Sprouse and Jesse McCartney. Ugh. Thought you'd find that funny.

Yes! I hope so too. Maybe we can share a room at one of the cheaper hotels by the con? Or still split a room. I could see if another friend would split the room, it would be cheaper for all of us then.

Hey, i'm all for splitting the room. And i'm not squimish about having lots of people in one room. At Ohayocon, we've stuck about 7 people in one room on many occasions XD
